Samantha Conklin, NP-C, has been providing medical care to Upper Peninsula residents since 2009 and joined Lilly Dermatology in 2022. Her path to dermatology is deeply personal: after being diagnosed with melanoma herself, she felt called to focus on skin health, prevention, and early detection. That experience gave her a profound understanding of what many patients face—and a heartfelt commitment to helping others through education, prevention, and compassionate care.

Samantha’s path to dermatology was shaped by her own personal health journey. After being diagnosed with melanoma, she felt called to focus her career on skin health, cancer prevention, and early detection. That experience not only sparked her passion for dermatology but also gave her a deep sense of empathy for the patients she serves. Samantha was drawn to Lilly Dermatology because of the practice’s dedication to exceptional patient care, its commitment to continual growth, and its positive, team-focused atmosphere.

Education and Expertise

Samantha earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Northern Michigan University. She is nationally certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

With a strong focus on patient education, Samantha is passionate about the prevention, detection, and early treatment of skin cancer. She performs comprehensive skin cancer screening exams and also evaluates and treats a wide variety of dermatologic conditions for adults and children—including acne, rosacea, hair and nail disorders, skin infections, warts, psoriasis, and eczema.

Life Beyond the Practice

Outside of Lilly Dermatology, Samantha enjoys an active and family-centered life. She treasures time with her husband and sons, especially while cheering them on at sporting events. She also loves walking their three dogs, reading, running, and working out. Living in the Upper Peninsula, Samantha embraces the outdoors and finds joy in the natural beauty of the place she calls home.
